Event Flowers, London

Recently I’ve had the pleasure of assisting Yan Skates, a clever and creative floral designer, on a few jobs in London. I love Yan’s designs. His approach and vision is completely different to mine, so it was almost like learning another floral language which was great. I think creatively, it’s always good to put yourself in new situations and get out of your comfort zone as often as you can. Even while running my business, I want to keep freelancing regularly as you always learn something and it’s interesting seeing how other people work and what they find exciting about floristry and flowers.
