Wedding and Event Flowers | Freelancing
When you work for yourself as a small business, you can end up spending a fair bit of time on your own. If you’re thinking of starting a business, it’s a good idea to figure out if that’s going to work for you as it can be hard to motivate yourself when it’s just up to you. I actually love it and really, when I say alone, I mean with my dog, Wesley - who is pretty much my favourite being to hang out with.
Obviously, sometimes you need to step out of your bubble and freelancing is a great way of doing that. It’s a good way to meet other florists and every time I work for someone else, I learn something new. We all work in different styles and in different ways and I think it just helps you keep keep a fresh outlook and inspire you to try new designs.
I’ve met some awesome and talented people through freelancing and thought I would share with you some of the projects I have worked on for Petal HQ, Alright Petal Flowers, Yan Skates and The Purple Stylist.
