Woodland Wedding in Kent

Longton Wood in Kent is such an amazing wedding venue. You’re completely out in the middle of the woods, surrounded by beautiful, tall trees and lots of greenery. There’s a marquee, a fire pit, a tree swing and a ceremony area with wooden seating. If you’re looking for something a bit different - check it out but you have to be prepared to get wet if it rains - so maybe plan for that with some brollies or make sure guests know to wrap up!

I was freelancing for Cosmos and Plums, with Petal HQ for a wedding there on Saturday and just wanted to share some of the photos with you. We had a slightly stressful start as the van we hired was suddenly unavailable - just before we were about to drive the hour and a half to Kent. So, we crammed ourselves and the flowers into Petal HQ’s car - the flowers were a lot more comfortable than we were, obviously. The weather driving down was so bad we could barely see anything in front of us and the thunder and lightening didn’t help! But we got there in the end and got the job done!

Us florists aren’t deterred easily.

The floral arch is foam free and the whole wedding was vegan / sustainable / all the good stuff.
